has anyone heard some of th tracks from this album.. I know
the Rock in Rio III concert is all over the internet.. and
mike piazza leaked part of a track "IRS" on his radio show..
but has anyone heard any of the work that has gone on in the
studio?? or is that kind of thing an imposibble thing to
pull off on such a tight-lipped crew involved with teh
project..
.
the things I've heard from it are reeaally really good
actually. songs like "The Blues" and "Madagascar" and a few
others are impressive,, let me kno

this is the new Axel Rose album isn't it? It's taken ages to
make, I first heard about it about 5 years ago! I'll hunt
around for some samples of stuff because I'm sure I've heard
some stuff on it somewhere.

did you know that in China, internet is heavily filtered ?
For example, no Chinese can connect to this site, because
it's too liberal... They would be immediately shot...
ahahah excellent country...

the Chinese authorities installed thousands of "filters"
which they bought (expensive) in the USA (Cisco system) and
there are thousands of people who supervise the
traffic...(if they can)
they listed more than 300000 prohibited sites...

but that cannot last any more, since 1 man out of 6 is
Chinese, and that the number of Chinese Net surfers doubles
rather rapidly, even if over there, it's a privilege to have
Internet.

oh wait, this has nothing to do with music...
but oh wait I don't know either any Chinese artist...

yes... and there is now a law in france that enables the
government to filter the internet as well, among a lot of
other totally insane things... you must have heard of it,
the "L.E.N."

although for now there hasn't be any noticeable changes (and
i hope there won't be)... i was really worried when i've
heard about this law.

there was a british law recently that put a ban on internet
porn.. or the ability to purchase pornographic material from
the web (?!?)

ahh no, I never heard about LEN...

I understand that one can filter certain sites, but for
example the peer-to-peer...

The great thing is all the files are equal, that it is an
expensive software, or a completely unknown piece of
music... or even random numbers... fake files... it's all
strangely dematerialized.

and why these $1000 softs are often cut out in small pieces,
are compressed in RAR, then in ZIP, and still in ACE?
perhaps it is an easy way for not to be localised ?

There is always a cheating possibility.

If a cop arrives at home because I said that on a forum, I
don't care, I tear off my hard disk and I explode it
hahaha.
(once I saw a report on TV where supposedly the cops
recovered the hard disk of a guy because it had downloaded
movies, but I think it was a false-report to frighten
people)

theo - I bet that the porn is 70% of internet activity, so
nothing can stop it.

There is no such thing as chinese democracy. The only thing
close to a chinese democracy is Taiwan and it isn't even
recognised as a country.

A surprisingly solid soundtrack, all 9 track are. It could
have been much worse. And to think, my DARE officer said
they'd all be dead by age 30. "Far from it dude, far from
it." This is what I said.

The internet is going to be phased out to be replaced by a
government controlled internet2, where all the big company
sites will be free, and you will have to pay to access
smaller sites (like this and 99% of the internet), which in
their turn will have to be approved by the government, for
"security reasons". You'll see.

i think if he called it a solo album he would get a lot more
respect for it than what he's going to get. it's not guns n'
roses. can't see him calling it a solo album because he took
the rest of the band to court to keep the name didn't he?. .
.
