I like it, but fuck me, 09, that's enough, no more. Half
hearted acid house, way to go genius.

its not so much the music as the despiseable fanboy-ism
about analord that is annoying, and makes me sick to the
teeth.

aren't you contradicting yourself. you say you like it, then
followed by the comment that it's "Half
hearted acid house"

quite strange.

I'm finally listening through a lot of them and getting more
familiar. I can say I like 4 and 6 best so far. 8 is my
least favorite

The great thing about analord is that there's a billion old
detroit or house tracks like this but, crucially they
don't have the skittersih beats of
analord, PLUS there's
the younger fanbase that wouldn't recognise an
uncomplicated old acid house track if it came in
their face, and that's what makes them worth 40 quid of
anyone's money.

analord is ok, but it seems so .... well-timed. acid
nostalgy seems to sell right now, at least here in finland,
and what i thought when i heard analords was: 'this is just
the current trendy acid sound'. the whole thing started with
i love acid i guess and it just seems so non-afx.

you know dawg. you're cool and all but the elitsm which you
and all the people like you who grew up with music in the
80ies and 90ies have towards the present music and youth is
really getting annoying. it's always "music used to be
better bla blabla" and "oh these youngsters don't know what
music is bla blabla".
STOP IT!!!

I generally like and prefer complexity in art, but only if
done the right way. "the right way" is vague and I don't
care to take the effort describing it but I think it might
have something to do with things working together as some
sort of intricate system.

We have screening mechanisms called colleges and
universities that weed out the people who do crazy things or
can't be trusted. If everybody was able to produce
knowledge, this would be frightening, if we thought
everything everybody said was equally valuable.

someone gave me two mp3s, someone else gave me one, i
listened to them a few times then forgot about it. i think
i'm used to AeAFXBoC>[] topics flooding on the board, it's
almost like i don't see them anymore or they just seem like
"normal"/"default topics" : )

I never saw the appeal of any acid music, new or old; it
just sounds too minimal, weak, and repetitive for me. I
couldn't care less if it's trendy or if it was from "the
good old days", pure acid bores the shit out of me.

But if you enjoy listening to squelchy acid muzak, then all
the power to you.
