Staalplaat Soundsystem is partially Dutch. or this doesn't
count since they live mostly in Berlin and make something
more eclectic than 'electronics'?

in the 50s?

Wasn't Rotterdam the Gabber-capitol of the world in the 90s,
or something?

I found an mp3 by the some years ago. God Is A Gabber. I
laughed when I heard it, oh how I laughed.

One time in '95 I was visiting Denmark, and we played
"lazer-war", you know, that game where you get lazer-guns
and tries to shoot at other people. They played a
Thunderdome compilation to get that futuristic mood. Quite
funny that one too.

How many were there in total 20+ or something?

A mate of mine were crazy about the Thunderdomes. When I
went to his house he always played me some of his fav tracks
from them. I borrowed him some decent stuff, but it wasn't
fast enough and didn't have enough distorted 909s for his
taste...

heh. it was surely above 20, plus box sets every 10
releases, plus special compilation, anniversary ones, ID&T
special promos and stuff.
im pretty sure it would end up at about 80 ? yeah, if you
count everything from this series.
madness !!

'lots of great music'-->> I listened to it a while back, and
i found it, keeping in mind it's from the 50's, rather dull
and monotonish, though with a lot difference between the 8
discs. Still def. not something to turn on every evening,
but a great historic piece of art (because the packaging is
a real treat) nonetheless. For me it was rather expensive to
buy it just for pleasure though! ~50 euros.
