i just bought this today with some ice cream while looking
for a job. the first song, god bless our dead marines, is
AWESOME. but i don't know about the rest. it seemed to fall
about early on much like the last album, this is our punk
rock. however, efrim sounds a lot more confident here,
though still off key. at least it's still better than
yanqui.

2/5 so far. i'm listening to the older albums first before i
listen to it a second time.

I think Yanqui is pretty good.
..Well at least the first song is.

listening again. the first three songs are beautiful/great,
especially the second one. i'm on the fourth song right now
and it's awful. more groundbreaking news as the album
progresses.

except for the ending, the third song is altogether
annoying. the fourth song, hang on to each other, is the
most reminiscent of the last album and will annoy everyone
within earshot. it's a grating campfire sing-along with a
swear word in. i like it but it's not much of a song.

*the third song is the annoying one. the fourth song is hang
on to each other. sorry for the mix up.

the last song, ring them bells (freedom has come and gone),
ROCKS THE CASBAH. this is what a godspeed song with vocals
sounds like. this is what yanqui should've sounded like. no
fan could be disappointed by it. damn.

okay, basically, if you're going to download it, skip tracks
4 and 5. and you will have one of the best albums out of the
collective. it really sucks that they felt the need to put
those two in, but there you go.

my score shall change to 3/5. recommended purchase for fans.

It's okay/shit. I thought the first track was okay at some
point. And I totally agree about that third thing, it's
awful and bad.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind if they gave up all the grandiosity
and stuff. The first album was great, boohoohoo

i honestly don't like the first album all too much. thought
the entire thing was a bore.

my favourite is born into trouble as the sparks fly upward,
and this new one would have to be my second favourite, sans
two needless songs.

YEAH OKAY sorry.

We're talking about Teddy Roosevelt's Guns. It's bad.
