after much deliberation i kicked everything (including
biggiesmartypants, daft punk, kraftwerk and chemical
brothers) but aphex twin out and i'm left with:
donkey rhubarb
bucephalus bouncing ball (edited to 3:12 because the rest
sucks)
fingerbib
beetles
logon rock witch
it's for my nephew sam's second birthday and i hope he likes
it and grows up as crazy as i am :D

Kids always like the packaging more, I hope you've designed
a nice digi-pack, using non-toxic colours of course.

kids seem to love Kyuss. my three-year-old cousin loved the
little music joke they put in on the outro of that song on
welcome to sky valley. it's the one where they keep playing
the same little riff over and over at slower intervals.
couldn't stop laughing.

also kids love crayons.

:)
i narrowed down to song that were simple (not too much
happening at once), happy and varied

I remember Ophecks posting about letting 5-year-old kids
hear things like 'confield' and that they really liked it.

I always get the feeling that kids will respond pretty
easily to experimental stuff, even non-melodic things,
simply because they're not as "programmed" yet.

im still wondering wether i should put the whole bucephalus
bouncing ball version in, im afraid the last part will make
him cry

qrter: it because kids perceive the world in a whole
different way

I'd swap bucephalus bouncing ball with something off of
Melodies from Mars.
