Khonnor: Handwriting

Ok, speak up, what do you think about Khonnor?
For me, "Handwriting" is currently one of my fav albums, and
i think it could make it in the long run, at least on my top
10 of great albums. Its so damm introvert and beautiful. The
perfect combination of indie and electronica. And for me, it
sounds more honest than introverted bands like Massive
attack or Portishead. So, does anyone agree, disagree?
If you dont know Khonnor already, give him a chance. He's
worth it!

He's posted on here occasionally. Yes I do like what I've
heard of his, very interesting, I want to hear the album.

He did really? Under the name Khonnor? It wouldnt surprise
me. I would reccomend buying the album, but i saw him live
the other day, and it wasnt that good. I'm not one to bash
people, but he had a "band" that was just some geeks, and
things just didnt click. He almost didnt play any of the
material from the record, only some lame dancable type
music. This doesnt make it a worse album, and anyone with a
heart should check it out!

Yep here's his thing LAZY_TITLE

Shame about the live thing. He's playing in a couple of
months at a fest near me, I was looking forward to seeing
him.

I've got the song 'man from the anthill' and its pretty
cool, im eager to hear more stuff.

I enjoyed his album, and the I, Cactus stuff on
8bitpeoples.com is pretty decent too. Haven't seen him
around lately, so I guess he's too good for us now...nah,
he's probably busy whoring for the biz

yes he knocked about slsk a lot in the early days [ver: 20!]
.....interestingly he was 17 then as he is now, 5 years
later. for some reason a few people were always excited by
his music....i've never been able to work this out.

Hehe. Yeah. Actually, he´s on a european tour for what i
heard. It started in Denmark for some reason where i saw
him. So i would se him if i had the chance, because he hasnt
got that much live experience i could imagine, and he's
learning it the hard way. So maybe he got better!!!

Yeah, I was expecting more "rock star" qualities.

Yea I suck with famous people. You should have heard the
crap I spouted to Aaron Funk when I met him, seriously...

The only celeb i haven't walked away from cringing is lucy
davis (dawn from the office), but she ain't as cool as these
trendy musician chaps

:)

On this board, in-cre-di-ble could mean either:

1: you think the music is incredible
2: You think its incredible that i'm stupid enough to make a
thread about this subject

Wich one is it?

I remember khonnor going around for 3 years telling people
he was 16.

I've never found his music to be any good.

Hehe, I wish I could :)

I haven't talked to that many artist, usually it's just
complimenting the concert or records they've put out, and
most of those are local mini-celebs. I talked to the guys
from Funkstörung once, and ended up slagging some guy they
were producing. They were really nice about it though.

Not related to this, but some time ago you put up a link to
some sounds "hollowsun" or something. Thanks, they where
pretty damm excellent!!!

I dont know about his music in general, or the older stuff,
but "handwriting" is pretty damm good in my oppinion.

I don't remember doing that, but I usually put up quite a
few links, so I probly/maybe did... so your welcome (if that
was me) :)

qrter was sarcastically replying to your observation that
khonnor was like any other member when he posted on the
board.

actually, a good 70% or so of his posts fall into this
category...

I'm quite sure it was you. I thank thee.

And about the irony. Oh. How clever.
