i'd like to offer some downloadable desktops for Earstoke once the record label is running, and the site is redesigned. does anyone know any serious designers? checks it: ---------------------------------------------------------- As the site is expanding, and the Record Label is slowly forming, I see it fit to offer some extras. I want to host downloadable desktops on the newly redesigned site, which is coming soon. Whats in it for the participating artists is this: averages well over 10,000 visitors each month, and its growing rapidly. The desktops, if accepted, will allow the artist some fairly decent exposure, and of course we will have complete credit to the respective artist, and the artists links, etc. with each piece. The final product should be 1600 x 1200 (width x height) and at a 72 point resolution. The subject matter should relate to Earstroke in some way, but it doesn't have to revolve around it. the focus is on the design, and the artists creativity. Usually desktops are minimal and leaves the person viewing it with a sense of openness. the connection can be as subtle as a logo hidden away on a coat pocket that a figure is wearing in the design. We are looking for something innocent, imaginative, and interesting. thanks, i'll keep you in mind. we are usually pretty ok when it comes to programming, but you never know. we'll be implimenting a messageboard on the site too. :D |
