i dont understand how you can live without tv...i watch it
at least 4 hours a day, it keeps me alive and entertains me
in a way the internet never can...

internet!

a few questions for you:

how long have you stopped watching for?
do you still watch films and/or play video games?
how do you feel about it all?
do you think its affected your quality of life, good or bad?

1. For a month
2. No video games, no films, but I have watched short clips
i've d/l
3. I feel good about it, but find it difficult at times,
especially if I've had a tough day at work and I'm
tired........... I find that's when I want to sit on the
couch and vegetate..... and I'm usually too tired to do
anything else (read, exercise, go out)
4. I have a better quality of life.... i achieve more with
my time...... and I feel more connected with myself, if that
makes sense....

i havent turned my tv on for about 7 months now. it's since
i moved in a new flat. the tv set is just standing in the
corner in the other room, silent and lonely. and i don't
miss that motherfucker.

tv is shit, you need to search really hard to find something
digestive.

off-topic, by the way, meanwhile: last night i heard in my
winamp a track called
"The_sound_of_breathing_looped_over_and_over". I ran to my
pc to check which Brian Eno's track that was. But it said
"andy k". Great track.

how long have you stopped watching for? 7 months, 5 days, 11
hours and 15 minutes

do you still watch films and/or play video games? yes
how do you feel about it all? great
do you think its affected your quality of life, good or
bad? yes, it has. good ! very good !

Yeah man the only reason I watch TV is either 1) SpeedTV
(racing channel) or I scan the channels to see if there's a
movie, or a movie soon-to-be on the telly. Everything else
is bleh except a couple or programs (Mythbusters,
architecture stuff, etc...)
