i saw this on a comdey central stand up. old people like to play 'thier music' music they used to listen to. imagine us, listening to wierd aphex and autechre stuff when we are 70 something....kind of funny |

I think it'll get slower, things don't move as fast anymore, kids will still be listening to Nirvana as the touchstone of Teenage Angst, plus musicians just keep going, Aphex'll be releasing new albums in his 70s. |

I'm 22. I can't imagine listening to the stuff I listen to now when I'm 70. In fact, one thing I dread is losing my ''musical smile''. I always want to be into music hardcore, and treat it like an adventure, and I worry about when that's going to come to an end, whether it be out of necessity or just a dying spirit. I hope I listen to this shit when I'm older. REALLY older. |
