Empty your cache. I tend to get the same problem when I

i've done that just now, no difference.... really weird...
i've tried four times uploading a new jpeg but it doesn't

jesus christ i've solved it..... first changed my IE
settings so that it checks for new versions of page for
every visit to the page (this didn't initially work) i then
right clicked on the old avatar that i was still seeing,
choose 'properties', copied the URL from the properties
window, pasted into the address line in IE and it brought up
the picture by itself 9still the old one tho), clicked on
'refresh' and it then fucking changed.... jesus...
