i was going really fast down the road and somefuckinghow my right foot went through my front wheels spokes, i flew through the air and slide accross the pavement. my foots fucked up and swollen and fractured. im lucky there was no traffic right behind me and that i didnt hit my head. |

im okay man :) just scary thats all, and was painfull. the bandaged wound on my hip is pretty deep, it was like i could see white muscle or whatever right after it happened. and the bottom of my foot has two little flaps of skin lifted off. as i said though, i am lucky - it could have been much much worse. ive never had a cast before or even any bone breaks. im all hopping around the house on one foot. but yeah "fuck man" is about right. pedestrians who saw it and helped me and my bike off the road were asking me if i was allright and all i could say was "yeah im fine....but ...fuck me" |

that exact same thing happened to me while riding on a friend's handlebars when I was 9... that shit is not fun. |

if you can see "white muscle" on your hip, i would guess thats tendon or something. but that shit won't heal up by itself. you should get stitches if you haven't yet. i had a spill years back on my mountain bike. i landed on my forearms on the sidewalk and scraped a hole in my elbow. there was no skin left, just a hole that i could move around and the tendon underneath stayed still (does that make sense?) anyway, the doctor said if i hadn't gone in right away to get it stitched up, they would have had to 'refreshen' the wound. he said it would not have healed up right witout stitches. i still have no feeling on the patch of skin where the hole was. anyway, feel better dood! |

thanks for your words. yeah regarding the whiteness, i dont know, i mean i was at the hospital, the doctor said that that is a bad place because theres a muscle there attached to hips that will be brused, and i will have to give lots of healing time, but nothing that wont heal by itself, i suspect it was just like a layer of flesh or soemthing, i doubt it was tendon, the doctor had a good look at it and all. there really wasnt anything to stitch up, like the skin had been scraped off. in any case, i will go in on wendsday or so to get the real cast when the swelling goes down, if i have any concerns i will go over them with the doctors. thank you for your advice though. |

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!? thats just the wound under my hip bandage, i dont want to take the bandage off yet, but the top is a bit open,, its very sore and red underneath. sorry if i scared you or something?? |

well its been a week and a bit and i finally got my although its a little fucked because it goes all the way up to my knee. it was screwed up because the radiologist who looked at my xrays on his own (and seperate from the emergency room doctor ) apparently filled out the official report saying there was no fracture or anything, so i had to convince them that there was and had to get a second set of xrays and stuff before they would let me set up an appointment to get the cast. anyways im healing well, and all my flesh wounds are fine and not really sore. |

dude this happened to me once too when iw as kid. my mates bike had no weels so u had to use your feet to stop, my first attempt i stuck my foot in the wheel by accident flip head first into the handlebars then supermaned over pavement and down a grass verge. lucky i was just bruised and scratched to fuck! |

yeah, the summer i turned 14 i was biking to swim practice down a hill and i had my towel and goggles in a plastic bag.....the bag got caught in the front spokes (that's what i get for not using a backpack) and i flew riiiight off of the bike. at least i was towards the bottom of the hill where it was flattening out a bit. i hope no one saw me. i was pretty much unscratched, except for my right cheek. i skipped swim practice that day! |

Thats bad luck dude. i remember sliding down a steep road after bombing it with my skateboard in spain. i got a bit fucked that day. keep trying to twist your ankles. ive twisted mine so many times it doesnt hurt that much when i do it now. |
