techniques using:

* subtractive synthesis
* FM
* additive synthesis
* wave sequencing
* sample based synthesis.

Heh... this needs a bump. I know some people here need to
read more on this subject. THis book seems like a good
resource. He even walks you through a couple different
synthesis programs (I am excited to see spectral synthesis
is included).

there's this terra synth with virsyn products made which
features

- Waveshaping
- Analog synthesis
- Spectrum Synthesis
- Formant
- FM synthesis
- Physical modeling

Spectrum synthesis is exiting... I remember when the only
way you could really do it was with coagula and it sounded
like shit but it was still really neat because its what afx
was doing.

Boy, times sure have changed (aka: nothing afx does anymore
is really that neat)
