my all time most hated song by any group is that one where
they sing "ooh ooh ooh, the sweetest thing" I feel
physically ill whenever I hear that. Im not even kidding.

i think the edge is the best guitar player ever, i'm
actually just now getting all the albums and just for keeps
because it doesn't mean i'm too interested in the whole band
(why is something for the singing post),
also: i find it interesting the edge doesn't play any solo's
but when he does that's probably one of the best 10 ever
(don't know because i don't like guitar solo's eihter)(on
the fly that is btw);
discoteque's a fun album and produced by flood; which maybe
is not as mainstream as i thought because i could get it in
this second hand shop; which is a lot for less;
the life shows looked so cool on tv with all these classic
songs and especially the popmarttour, which i regret not to
have been at because this back to basic stuff sucks (which
base, not theirs as far as i know)

yeah I love U2... I have all their studio albums, Under a
Blood Red Sky, their greatest hits one (with the b-sides)
and a few singles... I like The Joshua Tree the best
personally, cause you just can't beat the first 5 songs...
amazing stuff... but Actung Baby is a close second... I'm
not as crazy about them now as I used to be, but I still
like them... and yeah, their new album isn't that great... I
have a great deal of respect for Bono and the gang, and I
think I always will...

I like them... though their new album is REALLY grating on
my nerves, now. Overexposure!

I can't stand Bono... he just seems to have this HORRIBLE
sense of melody, I hate the guy. The Edge is really good, he
salvages it.

i've covered that with my band once on a love-cover-box
night, tomorrow like exactly a hundred years ago, we had an
extra trumpet player that played on a plolonged chorus, he
was rather good, but still it prolly was pretty stupid.
the other songs were: love is suicide from the pumpkins
and it was the first time we played a self-written piece,
which i don't dare to call a song
o, i get a bit mixed up, in the name of love we played on a
u2-cover night, with another singer on some other song,
probably sunday bloody sunday, she was supposed to sing
opera to it, but chickend out, the last song i really don't
remember, but i'll give the last one from that first (or
second, i don't know the order) night: that was by sonic
youth from dirty with these lyrics: i love you x100 what
your name
