Look below. Here is a conservative billboard I saw a few days ago. I'm not an imigrant myself but it made me fucking angry. I see this as sick and twisted and if the conservatives get in power then I'll go on a fucking bloody protest. |

i saw this great documentary about immigrant workers in a specific part of ny state where there was violence and huge protests happening. they interviewed all these (only white) families about why they don't want immigrants living in their neighborhood and these people all insisted vehemently that they were not racists. and when they were pressed and pressed on the question, the answer across the board was that they were afraid of them because they were mexicans. it's just plain racism. they wouldn't be worried if it was a bunch of illegal swedes - it's about the different color skin. |

I think I will go mad during this campaign, having to listen to Michael Howard use the phrase 'hard working families' 18 times in every speech. Their slogan - 'Are you thinking what we're thinking?' - sucks too. It just invites people to say 'no'. |

politics have become a parody of itself. I'd say it's because of the increased amount of money one can make in it. Poltics in itself is corrupting, no matter which party/side you're on, and then adding more money to the mixture made it corrupting x400. |
