My Album "Mourn"

I released my first album last Friday at my local cool
record store. I have no illusions, so I set 25 copies out
for free by the door. Tonight a guy from the local college
emailed me and asked if I was avalible to play a house show
he and his roommates are putting on. Kind of cool having
people you don't know being interested in your creation.

No label - DIY. I've distributed only about 29 copies so
far, but I'm currently working on 30 more which will go out
tommorrow. This is my first album, although I have about
four or five albums worth of material accumulated which I
have yet to put together (I hate the chore of editing - I
suck at it and second guess myself constantly).

I'm still old-school by economic necessity if nothing else.
All of my work has been recorded on an 8-year old Tascam
424mkII Portastudio. I've used a wav creator program to
transfer the tapes to a digital format in order to arrange
and burn to a cd. My stuff is by definition "lo-fi" because
of the tape hiss associated with the format. It's abstract,
but not "IDM".
