None. Get a good set of in-ear headphones.Sure

An amp is just another battery-eater to lug around and
unless you spend some serious ducats you will be
deteriorating the signal.

I had a guy make me a Grado RA1 amp clone (battery powered),
for my Grado Alessandro MS-1's. MY vinyl is phono staged by
a NAD PP2 and my CD's are played through a Pioneer DV-515
(DVD). Leads are PSR Stereo Y Type Interconnect Earthed

Heh... those people deserve to be mugged. They are perplexed
about a color scheme in a jaccuzzi...

sarcasm-> how can you give the guy adequite advice without
knowing all the other details in the room? Color of
jaccuzzi, color of walls, material of walls, size of mirror
on ceiling, size of door, location of videocamera.
<-/sarcasm

That one was pretty sexy... but did you see the black one
with gold lettering? That would go perfectly with my leapord
print velvet wallpaper.

The $170 Sony MDR-V900's I got replaced some $120 Pioneer
DJ-5000's I had.
Big difference.
I'm telling you, you put these on... you won't know they are
there.
Blast for hours.
You can boom while you Doom.
