If you mean will Mac VSTs run on Windows, then no. They're
not like Java or something that runs on any platform. But
most large companies like Native Instruments will release
both Mac and PC versions.

i think there are different types, because i'm not sure if
.dll's work on macs, i don't use a mac so i can't help you
much.

You have to have the Mac version for Mac and the PC version
for PC.

I have heard vst preformance can usually be weaker on macs
tho.
