Do you love dub? Perhaps you merely 'like' dub? Do you dislike dub? Do you rub a dub dub?

Yes i do like dub, but anything over about hour or so tends to require herbal enhancement. I don't care what any fule say, most dub tracks tend to blend into one reverb-soaked boredom frenzy if i'm not in the "right mood." A notable exception being primal scream's "echo dek" remix album, i could listen to that for evarr.

i dig dub... i'm definitely a beginner at this point, but i'm starting to explore some of the giants, like King Tubby and Lee Perry and the like... it's crazy some of the shit they did in the studios... sounds like it was made yesterday and not 30 years ago... anyone have any recommendations?
here's 2 that i'd stand by: the Congos- the Heart of the Congos King Tubby and Augustus Pablo- King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown

I got into dub well befor I got into Autechre. I feel this helped me appretiate ae more as I was, through my experiences with King Tubby especially, able to understand HOW to listen to ae. To listen to the subtle variations that occur within the context of repetative trance-inducing music. To be stoned is to delight in nuance. I never really listened to Ae high, but I definitely leared my lesson.
