[Track] Taking Control remake

Ok, I decided to share this with every aphex twin fan out
there. It's a melodic 808 & 303 remake of Aphex Twin's
original. I think I've nailed the beat down pretty much,
except for that magic bell at the end of the third bar(which
I left out on purpose).

I do however have 3-4 other versions of this, some of which
are much more like the original track, I could probably post
them too if people want me to.

impakt - Taking Control (Of The 808)

Enjoy!

I like how you manage to post in everyone's music thread
without actually downloading their music.

No point in hijacking the thread then..

That was pretty good actually. Much better than I was
expecting it to be. Yes, it was most enjoyable. Good work.
The bass drum is a bit too boomy. But it was very good.

Yeah it sounded good, but I didn't think it sounded anything
like Taking Control. More like an Aphex Twin tribute tune.
Could have something to do with me not having heard Taking
Control for a while though.

I don't though, really.

I do download people's music, but if I haven't got anything
to say about the music, I won't.

and even then - it's a messageboard.

Xammax, youre kind of right. The only thing this track have
in common with the original is the beat, only its 808
instead of random samples etc.

So I guess its more of a tribute as you say.

Why do I get the impression that was a deliberate mistake?

very nice tune.

the 303 acid is a little quiet in the mix.
