other direction or are you happy cos they choose a fresh
sound?

They ran out of tunes they wanted to release (true story).

Warp has had some decent releases out recently and have more
good ones lined up. This topic is pure bullshit.

i still haven't had the will to check that label.

but,i think idm needs to lay low for a while, maybe it will
grow bigger in 2010 or sooner.

I think they should release whatever they like and I'll
decide with each release whether I want to buy it or not.

excuse me? there's nothing smart about that, that's just
what I do.

I don't listen to recordlabels, I listen to records.

you would presume so - but why this question then?

in short: who cares?

well, some ppl tend to call themselves music collectors which
don't care about the sound, but the quantity.

If they just collect then they'll be happy.

you don't but other pople might. people who follow warp
records and who remember them as pioneers from days gone by.
as far as record labels go, they are well known as one of
the big promotors of electronic music.

I do remember them as pioneers, but they got to be pioneers
because they released what they liked, which is not much
different from what they seem to be doing now.

all.

I think !!! is really nice to put on every now and then.
I find Gravenhurst is enjoyable as well but could not give a
fuck less about Maximo Park and Home Video.

Usually when Warp is tasting a bit stale, their Lex imprint
puts out good shit to even things out. Case in point: New
Boom Bip LP.
