i totally agree with that. aphex is so changinglike and so
good at everything he does... his music is full of
creativeness and imagination... melodies are so original and
beautifull, its hard and soft at the same time... and it
never makes you feel cold... all opposite its warm... aphex
is such a genious that comparing many others whith him makes
them look too simple.
Autechre is not that "camaleonic" (changing) but they have
reached such a perfection in their evolutive process that
they are at the same level (IMHO)... they seem to be always
on the same battle, but they change with every release
because they never stop investigating

Didn't Bomb The Bass get that name from Naked Lunch by
William Burroughs...

BugPowder was the addictive drug the exterminator used to
kill cockroaches etc....before finding out it was a
hallucingenic drug and he finds his wife shooting it up...

Made, I believe, from MugWump Jism...which you really don't
wanna know any more about...

Good book, good film...

oh so because the chemical brothers are more commercial it
means they are shit? Come on, that's pure nonsense. first of
all, they are not very commercial because they've had only a
few top charts (at least where I come from). I like aphex
more than TCB but they're quite good none the less.

imho, the chemical brother sound isn't that cool as it used
to be, when their first album came out.

i mean, who *really* cares about bigbeat-stuff today?

Exit Planet Dust......That one is a must if you wanna get
one.....

But IMO they are all cool....
I think it all depends on what kinda mood your in....

If your in a drinking/dancing mood...the Chem's are
grrreeeat.

around the time of 'chemical beats' which came out on junior
boys own it was like 'wow!!!!' then the first album came
along and it was like '...oh' and then it was like '..erm
new album? who cares?' now its just like '...erm-stop
releasing music-please'. the chemical brothers were good
when they were called the dust bros and that was about
it..sorry but there is much much much much much more
interesting and fantastic music out there-why listen to pap
just for old times sake? they've lost it, but there a
trillion of unheard artists out there who do have it-id
prefer to spend my time. energy, money and ears with them.

Chemical Brothers are GREAT! Their newer stuff isnt as cool

masterpiece of break beats and tehcno.

If you don't know track#2 from Surrender (Under the
influence), try to download it... but when you'll listen it
would be better you don't pump up the volume too much...

i once went to dj in a friends party ... i went with 60 cds
and after a few hours dj-ing i stoped for a break and have
some drinks with my friends in the party... later that night
i realised i had been stolen three cds:
-surrender(chem)
-homework (daft punk)
-propellerheads (i think it was their first album... the one
with the song sith shirley bassey singing)

i got really angry and i never bring my cds to parties
anymore

You was really unlucky... in the world there's a lot of
fuckin' ppl.
Anyway I have these three cd too.

.Surrender is a great album.
.Homework is a good album, my fav track is number #4 (Da
Funk), I love that song.
.Propellerheads with Dasdrumandrockandroll or something
similiar is a nice album but nothing more, I think it's a
little bit boring.

Hey Nacmat, we listen the same music, we've very simliar
music taste!

-surrender(chem)
-homework (daft punk)
-propellerheads

yea i have noticed that since everytime we talk about other
artists not being autechre or aphex, we seem to like very
similar music... its good to find a person that having lived
in a different country and having had different experiences
in life, seems to have been listening to almost the same
music as yourself

Chemical brothers are all right in my opinion. I got Dig
your own hole as a gift and i started to really like a lot
of the tracks. I got Surrender and was disappointed with a
lot of the album, with the exception of out of control & hey
boy hey girl. I haven't heard any of their new album yet,
i've heard both good and bad things about it.

Chemical Brothers two latest albums are shit (IMHO). Exit
Planet Dust is one my favorite albums and Dig Your Own Hole
isn't so good as EPD, but still good album.
