tommy guerrero
i found out about this skater/producer while digging my stash of instrumental hip hop releases.
funny to discover he's an pro skateboarder which makes one of the beautiful music i heard in the past month.
i got "a little bit of somethin'" album which is packed with hip hop style beatz and luch quitar lines.
u got a lil description from epitonic + two samples from his releases.
this one is really a gem,so try to find it if you have a chance!

you spelled guitar with a q.
I really wouldn't have said anything and it doesn't mean all that much, but it is kind of perplexing..
the sample from that cd you bought might be one of the most annoying things I heard in a while!

I don't know, these sound like backingtracks, kind of boring.

If I ever have a restaurant that serves nouvelle-Mexican cuisine and contains lots of potted ferns I am going to play Tommy Guerrero's first CD constantly. Or at least until one of the staff stabs me in the neck with a shrimp fork.
I really like his music even though I recognize it belongs in such a setting.

yes, but i was looking for something specific - they played it at some skate/bmx show and it was awesome...all i remember is it was very simple sounding, and people here were recommending me all sorts of hip hop but nothing came close to that..i lost all my hopes..

then you just found your saviour. i'll be online in half an hour...gotta upload some shit.
one thing though...it really differs from album to album, like you can notice who does only instrumental or who does matrices for emcee's.
i'll show you with some examples.
:)
