I've just discovered Ulrich Snauss' "A Strangely Isolated Place" and I really like it.
Does anyone recommend any of his other stuff. Any similar artists to recommend?
Cheers.

I also recommend Ulrich Schnauss. His track on the "Blue Skied an' Clear" compy by Morr is great as well. I haven't heard "Faraway Trains..." but it's supposed to be the jam-izzle.

He lost a lot of respect from me when he complained about his stuff being on Soulseek (how I discovered him and went on to buy his record). This was compounded when I later read in an interview that he considered himself a marxist.
His music is good though. I have ot be in the right frame of mind, but as an "after a busy day at work" wind down album, "Trains" is excellent.

His remixes of 2 Longview tracks are simply stunning.
His new album is half finished and is highly likely to be on a 'major' label as he is no longer with CityCentreOffices.

I don't know. I find that people are perfectly right in being unhappy that people are illegally distributing their art. Whether or not people listen to their oppinion or care about it is a different matter. Additionally, people are allowed to have their own political opinions. Is a convenience store employee any worse an employee just because they may be a nazi? Probly not, but they certainly a worse person for it.
I like Ulrich Snauss. His music is good.
