I need a good play station 2 emulator. I am hoping this
will be able to play burned games off my dvd drive. Anybody
have any suggestions?

In the past I used an N64 emulator with a 3.3GHz system and
1GB RAM / 256mb graphics card and it played like shit. I can
imagine a PS2 one would play terribly.

This post doesn't help you, I just felt like saying
something.

There is actually a certain plugin needed for the N64
emulators (aparently only one emulator came out with it in
the install file, the rest left it up to the user to know
about and install) to get the 3d texturing and shadow
effects down. Without that plugin, a lot of them would run
the games, but the games would look incomplete, or run
chopily.

Then your system must suck infinitely. I've played majora's
mask on my current system (P4 3.4 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 128 MB
vid card) and it plays as smooth as it would on the original
N64, given that some of the menus adb cutscenes are not what
they should be.

I've had mario 64 and blast corps running better on my pc
than they do on a real n64.

PC is a 1ghz with 512mb ram!

That said, you're dreaming if you want a PS2 emulator IMO.

HEh... 99gbp translates into 200can. I have musical gear
that I would rather spend money on, like controlers, and
mixers and turntables. I am not going to pay usefull money
for something that will cost me 200 + 60 per game.
