Somebody should make a site that is legally untouchable,
that allows people to access to mp3's from bands like
metalica, the strokes, U2, radiohead, britney spears,
tricky, hot hot heat, the rolling stones, the tragically
hip, christina aqueleria, eminem, celine dion and all the
other bands that suck so that they can not waste money on
those bands, and just buy albums by autechre.

I second that, but they should buy more than just autechre
:)

it's sad that u include the strokes here : i agree with u on
the others, but not on the strokes (i wonder if u really
listened to some songs of them)

The strokes are good. They saved rock. Reptilia is great.

"rock" isn't something that can be or needs to be "saved"*.
that's just an imaginary theory rock journalists cling to so
they can fill the gaps in their little cd reviews about
awful commercial retro bands like the strokes. imo.

* i remember they said the same thing about creed (another
commercial rock band, perhaps even worse than the strokes,
fawned over by radio dj's for "saving" a long-dead genre).

yeah I know.. but I'm not a rock journalist so you can keep
your pretentious cling to fill in the void of your life by
pretending to be a music expert on Internet forums shit to
yourself

i am sorry because that sounded rather harsh. i was in a
bad mood. now we've both said something kind of mean, let's
start over. i'm really sorry.

pff stop making excuses. saying anyone "saved rock" is a
perfectly wanky thing to say and it is anyones right to
comment upon it.

OK. me sorry too. I'm in a bad mood today too, didn't get
any sleep and my girl's with a friend now.

qrter: You shut up. Understand that your opinions are ones
of a bitter person whose life sucks at such point that takes
pleasure in destroying other people's views and agreements.
and not only that but you can't even do that on real life.
Loser.

Hmm so anyway, what's the single called? I thought they were
smack in the middle of an inter-album period.
