I always wondered what would happen if everyone jumped at
the same time....wouldnt it fuck over the rest of the world
that didn't jump tho?

so how does your physics teacher propose we stop global
warming? Maybe he is in on it, melting icebergs n stuff.

Come on! join in the jump - Be a hero and laugh in the face
of your mentor.

Did they figure that if everyone around the world is
jumping, people on the opposite side will cancel the other
people out? Or have they figured for rotation, so it's not
simultaneous and jump times for different parts of the world
have been assigned accordingly?

i've also heard from a credible source that this is
bollocks.

but i do know that gigantic earthquakes (like the one that
caused the recent tsunami) slightly, slightly effect the
earth's orbit.

the force of impact of a person jumping seems very miniscule
to me. as a layman, my guess is that you'd need way more
people than 600 million jumping in more or less the exact
same area, all at the same time, which of course isn't
possible.

it's a fun idea though. but at the same time, it reminds me
of the twilight zone episode where the earth is drifting
towards the sun and everyone is overheated and fighting over
water, and at the very end, the woman wakes up and realizes
that it was just a dream... the earth was moving away
from the sun
! :)

I don´t need a physics teacher to figure that out

theres a myth that if everyone in china jumped at the same
time it wold create a tidal wave big enough to drown
america!
