it loads, click on the 200k, you may have to temporarily
allow for pop-ups if you have popup protection - it looks
trippy

I don't think it looks very good, really. The book is one of
my favourites though.

"Some day in the future, there will be a new highly
addictive drug called Substance D, and the main side effect
is that it causes split personalities in all who use it.
Drug cop Fred(Keanu Reeves) is working undercover to catch
Bob a big-time drug dealer. Little does he realise that he
is chasing himself, as Bob is really just one of Fred's many
personalities."

doesnt look good to me.

course the only philip k dick film i thought got the feel
right was blade runner. and thats probably because PKD was
alive while it was being made.

this looks too computery and stylized. i was expecting it to
be a bit more gritty.

but ill save judgement til i see the entire thing.

i don't know, i'm thinking it has potential.

remember Waking Life? that was Linklater at the end talking
about Dick's essay. Linklater's got a real hard-on for Dick
(no pun intended) so i think his passion could make this
really good.

talent :)

the sound of the plot sounds shitty. i suggest check out the
movie Angel Heart. it's an older movie, but with a similar
plot, sans the drugs and replacing them with a detective
selling his soul to the devil and searching for himself.

Angel Heart is nothing like A Scanner Darkly. And the book
was written way before Angel Heart. Angel Heart is a pretty
good film though - I like Mickey Rourke - he was good in
Barfly.
