Either that or he's not quite as pally with the Autechre twins as he makes out, and he doesn't want to be found out by saying it is/isn't a fake when it turns out that it is/isn't genuine. If you get my gist. Worst come to the worst though, if it is genuine, Autechres can guage the reacton (pretty negative so far) and cobble a new album together between now and April, or whenever it's supposed to be out. How about something a bit upbeat and that I can listen to without my wife turning down/off the stereo, lads? |
