I use PowerDVD because it came with my DVD drive.

I'm not sure if this download is the same version, but the
one I have is pretty good. Never tried anything else.

Realplayer, surprisingly, but I had to install Sonic
Cineplayer to get the DVD codec to use in it.

i have intervideo windvd and that plays as my movies on all
regions even the fake ones i get from the dvd lady in dubai.

i don't think real player is as bad as people make it out to
be. but it's not great either, and real alternative (i.e.
windows media player classic + some codecs) runs much more
smoothly, and the picture even looks better. but the picture
thing it probably me just thinking it does.
