Great hip hop album. You can find it on Lex, ya know, Warps
Sublabel? Its grown on me. I'm sharing it on soulseek.

I should mention Tes' flows are sick, almost singing at some
points, jumping around, crazy patterns and rythms in his
delivery.

Basically rappin about working a shit 9-5 job, living in a
post 9/11 world, but the whole album comes across as very
original sounding.

Yeah, it's quite good, too short by half though. Although
"new new york" really grates on me now, i listened to it way
too much.

yeah it is a bit short, but its okay, it has everything I
look for in a complete album. Nice little interludes too.

I suppose too short is better than too long. I'd say it's
worth it just for "fooltime" and "big shots" if you can find
it cheap. And that frankie knuckles-biting melody in
"trigger da whistler" makes me all sticky.

Lucky me, I got it as a freebie from Warp, (TWICE!) i gave
the other one to my friend.

Sounds kinda neat. Although that whole white guy rapping
about your 9-5 job or your girlfriend and shit like that got
boring about 20 years ago.

maybe hes just a pale spanish fella, I dont know.

So its okay for black guys to keep rappin about it?

black guys only rap about cars, hoes, bling bling and weed.
and that got old 40 years ago.

Went to check out DM & Jemini at the Lex night in London a
while back (Vapour festival or something... very hazy
memories) only to realise their gig had been cancelled...
but was more than happy to see Tes as the replacement
instead! He absolutely rocked the house and completely put
Kid Acne and his incredibly nerdy and boring show/skills to
shame.

Anyone kow of any other releases besides x2?

This is correct. Black people rap about the things that
truly matter. White people can only think of rapping about
the boring things that white people do. Which is pretty
boring.
