I just heard various old MP3's today and like, OMG, Vsnares
; "Herbie Goes Ballistic" is like ..OMG, the end of
breakcore, nobody can top that track, breakcore-wise, it's
like ...ok, nevermind.. fanboy fanboy..

Fuck me, I suck..

hahah

there's basically a different style of breakcore for each
artist who does it, so i don't think one song could be the
end of it. i don't even think that's one of the best
vsnares tracks.

venetian snares is not only breakcore
he touches lot of styles... and in all of them he puts his
unique touch

you can always tell its him... but he does very diferent
music from one release to another

compare hccbu with infolepsy and comapre infolepsy with
winnipeg

or any of these with chocolate wheelchair

one year and some months ago I idscoverd snares and I can
say it has been my greatest doiscovery since I discovered
idm in 2002

and it isn't...

I agree, Snares has a sort of "theme/style" on each album
...but hmm, you discovered idm in 2002?? and then 23896
posts on this board, hmmm :P

what surprises me, is that nacmat is about the same age i am
and he still enjoys this teenage hardcore, harsh music :D

I love Snares but I know how he must sound the some people.
I don't think he's a musical genius but hardcore stuff is
just as called for as anything else if you ask me.

Anyway, I, too, thought Herbie Goes Ballistic should've been
the end of at least the Amen break since it is taken to it's
limits in the track. Alas.

i don't mind vsnares either..i really like to hear if
someone plays one of his songs on a gig, as that's the kind
of music that gets me jumping around the most. but i don't
listen to that harsh music at home anymore, it just doesn't
do anything for me anymore. i used to like him a lot tho.

Never been a fan of breakcore. Personally I'm glad the
flavor of the month is analog.

yes, its good because analog could be anything... even
analog-breakcore...

whereas breakcore is... breakcore...

I just don't get how packing as many kicks/snares as
digitally possible into a bar is that appealing. It's as if
there's this agenda out there to use the amen break in as
many ways as possible until we exhaust all possibilities.
That's what I don't like about breakcore...the percussion
side becomes the main focus.
