Hi all. If you liked Basinski's recent onslaught of ambient-like albums, check out this late 2004 album by Stephan Mathieu.
Interview
I reckon it's his most accesible release so far and it includes the wonderful Theme for Oud Amelisweerd. Don't worry, it's not as diluted as some of that DSP stuff out there. It's a diverse, clean album and still, it even hints at Aphex Twin sometimes ;)

Final promotional talk: check the three and a half minute track Nibbio which features a Gregorian singing type choir or something of the like. Very soothing.
Or Smile which has an Italian talking (dirty?).
