"When you finish Fight Club's story mode--which is a
series of mind-numbingly easy and repetitive battles
punctuated by poorly prerendered images overlaid with
terrible voice-over that is rife with pointless
swearing--and which has the audacity to try to tie in with
the events of the film, you unlock Limp Bizkit front man
Fred Durst as a playable character."

i dunno 'bout the game, but to have fred durst and lose a
lot must be fun!

the reviewer also thought of that:

"To be fair, much like how the main character(s) of Fight
Club yearned to fight such figureheads as Mahatma Gandhi,
William Shatner, and Abraham Lincoln, it's possible that
Fight Club fans might appreciate the idea of seeing Durst
get the snot beaten out of him. Unfortunately, they won't
get much satisfaction out of the actual process here,
because Fight Club is one of the basest fighting games in
years."

Yer nuts. Halo 2 has the best multiplayer this side of
Counter Strike and the stories are fine. I love my PC to
but put down the mouse and put your ass in front of a big
screen with AC-3 and Halo 2 and you will know what is what.

Its not about how big your screen is. Screen size is nothing
more than penis compensation. At the end of the day people
who have a keyboard in mouse devastate you Halo fucks.

I will probably trade my ps2 for a friend's xbox soon. He
has Halo 2, Knights Of The Old Republic, Ninja Gaiden, and
Fable.

But you will have to get a 400 inch telivision to compensate
for all the time you've spent with your face mashed against
a monitor.

Really- an xbox is just a pc with software that updates
itself to the hardware rather than vice versa. Programmers
have become incredibly lazy because of Moore's law

damn the fight club should of been just like the game, not a
fighting game but a story game where you play jack and you
steal human fat and make soap and do everything you do in
the movie

I'm going to buy Devil May Cry 3 next week, I'm superexcited
for it. I think it'll make up for the fuckup that was DMC2.

Speaking of action adventure games, Castlevania- Curse of
Darkness has been revealed. Hopefully Konami will finally
get the third dimension all spic and span. Lament of
Innocence had the look and the sound but was a bit of a
blooper.

Between the new Castlevania, DMC3, God of War, etc etc, the
PS2 should going to clean up on the action front this year.

Ikaruga rocks, but I don't own it. I can't find it around
here! One game I really want is Radiant Silvergun, but
again, tough to find that obscure shit around here. I took
me years to find Ico (I can't order off the net for various
reasons).

Check this out. Resident Evil 4, game of 2005? IT'S TEH
MASTERPIECE, super graphics. Who's played it so far?

Have you beaten the game? You fight a 8 foot tall chainsaw
guy with TWO chainsaws in one of the unlockable modes...
that's some scary stuff.

EGM I'm iffy on. I don't read any magazines regularly
anymore (although when I worked, I bought them so I could
read them in the office). I stick to IGN and Gamespot, I
have subscriptions and that's way better than print. Those
magazines on the left are mostly old Ultra Game Players! My
favorite magazine ever, until they folded in '98.
