i've heard said that the version of the album on the P2P
networks is a uncomplete one, released especially to confuse
the people ; but the real album shouldn't be so
repetitive...
just a theory

that would be real nice, yes, coz this is extremly boring.

some guy on a messageboard that is really interested in
minimalist music said it's great though... but for me it's
also too repetitive (for the moment)

The first one was ok i suppose.
As for the film score, i found the movie so unbelievably
shit i forget what the music is like.... let's just say it
wasn't that memorable for me. :)

i haven't even seen the movie :)
some of those vids were enough to put me off of it.

HOMEWORK is probably the album i've listened to the most in
my life : when i was young i only had one CD : this one, and
used to play it all day long for months

yeah vids were total crap ; the music was nice but you know
i think Daft Punk is French music for French people (dunno
why, but they are so popular here) ; something
unexplainable...

daft punk are officially good, ESPECIALLY their videos! the
new album is so-so, it might take me a while to get into it.
if indeed, the leaked album is genuine...

their 1st 2 albums are really classy.

there's loads of good french style things with a similar
sound:

besides daft punk & cassius ther is live element, modjo,
galleon, alan braxe...

Daft Punk are Daft Punk! When I first heard Homework I
thought it was amazing how they didn't overcomplicate things
with cheesy structures or faux avant garde crap it was just
honest. This new one is the same. Would you prefer them to
do gabbacore or a ravehop mess? I respect them for sticking
to their guns and ignoring all this armchair critisim..

I really hate most French House Music.

Some random loop. Some random vocal sample.
Low-pass/high-pass filter. Awesome.

that pretty much describes Daft Punk to me.

plus ofcourse trying to be mysterious by only wearing dumb
robot costumes on press photos. prats.

Discovery was a pile of shit! It had the same strength as
the first though. I don't agree with their music but I'm
glad they don't give a shit to the fickle 'here to day, gone

listening to it right now... don't know if it's a fake or
not but i really like it too.

haven't heard any Daft Punk "seriously" (i.e. on CD or mp3,
not just at the radio or stuff) before but i like it. at the
same time kitsch-funny-wtf and seriously good. (i just don't
like the voice of the guy, especially on the title track)

SORRY GUYS but the version you have of "human after all" is
definitely the final one. (just read an article about in,
saying that the Daft Punk are really angry after journalists
that let this record leak...)

I like Discovery very much, what's not to like? I heard a
new Daft Punk on the radio today and it sounded awful, but
is it one of those things that's deceptively simple that,
after a few listens you think, "Fuck, that is geeeeeeeenius"
while dramatically slapping your forehead.

First time I heard "One more time" I thought it was Cher.
