Realplayer has been technically very good (meaning it does what you want and doesn't crash or fuck up) and not utterly evil (by which I mean it doesn't make you go to extraordinary lengths to shut down and remove the quickstart crap in the tray) for a while now. Try it if you haven't tried it lately. Real is actually my favorite streaming video format now - it looks better than WMV or quicktime and it usually streams steadier. I still prefer Winamp for audio formats though. |
