I hate chav'd up cars, but this is quite entertaining
viewing. Xzibit seems like a decent bloke and is an amusing
presenter.

eh, i watched it a few times. Its kind of boreing:

hey you've got a shitty car, so we'll put some new speakers
in it a ps2 or xbox some big rims a new paint job.

which show is that? wait i think its all of them. mtv shows
are so dull.

oh yea forgot, lets put one huge or 20 small monitors in you
car, because you really need a dvd player in your car, i
could see a minivan full of little brats...but come on

the driver monitors are only in use (dvds and the sort) when
the car is in PARK, you realize.

but i fully agree with the rest...id rather see that money
go towards engine/suspension than audio/video

...but to each his own, it's not my car

Yes, only time I've seen them do engine work was to clean
one out that failed on the way to the garage.

I'd hate to see what those mods do to their insurance!

I've pimped my bike, but unlike lots of "cheap" DIY car
modding:

a) It costs bugger all

b) Looks great (as in tasteful: even a bike enthusiast could
mistake it for a stock bike, albeit a different model to the
one it is)

c) Actually makes a significant performance and reliability
gain (yes, one of the mods makes the bike more
reliable...)

somehow I fail to see the connection between extracting dxm
from finnish cough medicine, and bad tv programs....

thecrims,

dood, especially people I know that have TV w/ their LCDs.

You have any idea how bad ass it is when you are stuck in
traffic going somewhere, to be watching the news and shit.

It's pretty fugging cool.

If you spend a lot of time in your car (dunno about where
you are at , but in the states ... we're usually driving
pretty big distances for stuff ... ya know :)) it's really
cool, or especially on road trips.

dont knock it until you try it.

but like i said, im not a big fan of more distractions in
the car

The best bit is at the end when they try and make the person
out to be some sort of saint who deserves nothing more than
a bright yellow Escort dressed up like a BMW with a fucking
fishtank in it.

I really like watching this show. I would never
drive one of those cars, but the guys that do it are
BALLERS. My favorite is the one guy who does all the
sewing/upholstery stuff. They are some pretty creative
guys, in my opinion. Sure, pretty much every car they do
has a TV in it or something of the like, but there are lots
of interesting little parts. It's funny when they screw up
and have to do something over! Ha ha ha...they seem like
really nice guys though.

yeah it's, regardless, a lot of work and a lot of "custom"
work.

they make it look easy, just like any show (monster garage,
etc)
