I have finally learned to appreciate it. thank you for
suggesting it; that is all.

it's the mp3 toy. I can't just vomit 20 gigs on it, so I
selected a few albums; half things I love, 1/3 things I
should hear, and 1/6 empty. Walking around in the snow with
that shit was gloriousity.

my brain definitely sucked today =(

mhtrtc is the perfect winter album....I love listening to it
while walking through the country park, looking at the sun
setting in the sky, while keeping my eye out for a woman to
rape.

Did you see me mentioning that lately I've felt some longing
for chicks? this is BAD BAD BAD.

but yeah. I'm kinda spazzy energetic, always twitching and
jumping around in different directions, so when sitting at
my PC it doesn't really fit, but for this morning's walk to
school.. yeah.

winter music, esp where im from is definetly owned by v
snares - i was listening to making orange things while out
today, blended perfectly with the frozen wasteland that is
my neighborhood

No I didn't see. But the time of the year makes many people
more sexually active than normal.

hmm I thought it was from staying inside and congregating,
but I'm as secluded as ever. What ruined me is probably
some hot girl I was talking to often. she's far away
though..

I've made a permanent association between the album and
sylvia, since she mentions it so much =P

thecurbcreeper no way man! it's fun crunching through
snow, watching it snow, knowing your temperature receptors
are working, etc. throwing snow.

i find that the best way to make it through winter it to
pretend im dead and im in hell, it makes me feel warmer,
plus explains a lot about the oncoming depression you have
to fight off.

nice thing about winter is you can keep piling more shit on,
and it feels pretty good. in the heat, you just take some
off and that's it, you're fucking sweating anyway.

Man I've had some great fun in snowstorms. Once in NYC is
started blizzarding insanely and I ran to central park (it
was 1am!) and rolled down shitloads of hills. next day
there were piles of snow against all buildings. YES

it's very difficult to point out what it is, exactly, that
makes this album so great and inimitable: it's not a
technological leap; it's not structurally innovative; the
melodies are very nice, but not enough to qualify this album
as a masterpiece. i think what BOC accomplished with this
album is to develop a keen ear for nostalgia, to
pluck from those past small flourishes of sound that are the
most potent mnemonics of a lost time, a fantastic collision
of the familiar and the uncanny.

my favourite boc music collection for sure.

on the winter topic, they usually give me recurrent cold
sores

"take it from me, someone who's had mouth sores"

Mhrrtc isnt all that great compared to other boc releases.
Geogaddi is a masterpiece, and Twoism, Hi scores and A few
old tunes vol 2 are all great too. only iabpoitc is
disappointing. (these are all the boc records i have)
