it's the same thing as an electrical blackout. i think the
cover artwork kind of covers this well.

overall i'd say it's ok/good. i'd really like to hear their
new stuff.

it's an amazing album. it's so dank and drippy...

'biorepo' conjures intense visuals of a dance party in the
middle of a swamp.

In addition to being a fantastic album on its own, it's
really enhanced by the theme, i.e. electrical failure, dark
buildings and streets... It's refreshing because the music
is eerie and dark, but it isn't completely over the top;
postapocalyptic and cornball like a lot of industrial tends
to be.

p.s. I love industrial.

i think i likes it so much because its such a dense chunk of
an album, and the more you listen to it you can get into its
effect - the album starts to drag you into its murk - but
yet you can still see sparks of its beat and melodies around
you, its still has its hubris, you just have to get kind of
mucky- its just like an evening of narcotics, 3am narcotics

that song is almost sexual, imo, i would try to get my wife
to go at it during the track but...i guess its more insect
sexual than human at least to her

and the melodies are used so sparingly.. which makes them
even stronger.

Honestly, I would consider most of phoenecias work sexual.

Have you listened to any of the soul oddity stuff? 4 to the
floor booty bass glitch jams... good stuff...
