Someone has to mention it: the occupation cost.

Maybe their donations are political in nature giving a
message of "see, we're the good guys who do nice altruistic
things in general." Thanks for that tsunami news though,
given that xltronic is my only link to information about the
outside world.

Wow, that is a really sophisticated algorithm... taking into
account eeevery single cost, in real time too.

Wait a minute... it might just be programmed to
continually count higher no matter what.

That is so true and I've been thinking that since the
tsunami happened. But, you know, it's not a popular opinion
to spread around, people seem to misunderstand... There is
loads of disasters around the world at any given time and
giving so much attention to this one alone is almost
perverse. It's nothing but a way to say "WE HAVE DOUBLE
STANDARDS"

to me it just illustrates the power of media to change the
world for the better... the willingness of seemingly
complacent people to give a damn if they are shown what's
going on around them (in a relatively non-partisan
context)...

i guess i hope people just don't turn their backs on it
immediately... i'm pretty skeptical though...

I know... the location of all the worlds missing left
socks...

Can you imagine? :'(

That smiley, or frownie actually, has a strange genetic
trait that causes tear ducts to appear on the outside of the
eyes.
