Yeah, the design is pretty basic. but the link section is
quite informative.

I'm with nacmat, I can hardly find anything on it. Looks
like your average geocities page or JeffK

It used to be quite a good web site, you could see all
rephlex release and pic's of the vinyls that they have
released and then for some unknown reason the web site
changed. Why I ask

hmmm, i like it, cause it has the same fuck you attitude as
they all seem to have over there - esp. rich - it´s all
there, nearly all the artists have a website up, so ...
eeettss ooowwrrraiiitt

i really dont think they care-they spend all day smoking pot
and not giving a fuck. rephlex is basically afxs label where
all of his mates reside. dont get me wrong theyve put out
some winners-i think the whole set up is hilarious!!-how
theyve kept going for so long is a fucking miracle.

dug up an old topic but still relevant

Remember receiving an email about three months ago them
saying they'd update the website?

They must be pretty busy and all since their main goal is
releasing music but it sure takes them quite some time
doesnt it?

About two months ago there was the big one-footed brainlogo
on http://www.rephlex.com/test which would suggest that at least someone
was fumbling around with the site.

Anyone got more info on this?

i think they're still around cos they work hard (i belive
there are only 2 or 3 people there) and they releae good
records.
iit takes quite alot of effort to do that and i can't see
them able to do it stonedall the time - i tried to do my a
levels ages ago stoned all the time and it don't work!

sometimes minimal is nice. I like it, it tells me what I
want to know about releases and thats what a label should
do.

as long as they keep releasing great music i dont really
mind how their site looks
(what i would like to see on that site is information about
the european tour)

The minimalism of the site is fine but the crap color scheme
and fonts are really annoying

Their site is crap really. Info yes, but the layout sucks.

If they're too busy to redesign they should get in touch
with me. I'd do it for a few CDs.

i've tried several times to subscribe to the rephlex mailing
list over a period of a few years, but they have never
accepted my request. surely this is a very basic thing to
sort out???

rekkun they be a load of cornish slackers myself.

the links page is good though, i'll give them that.

rephlex.com really is a webshite

why they have to only have the latest releases up is beyond
me.

and why are all releases since 2001 in the "2001 releases"
folder? Are they stuck in the past or wot?
See:
http://www.rephlex.com/2001releases/cat134/cat134.html

the layout leaves a lot to be desired, but unlike some
sites, it has great content but not much style. great links
section, but could do with descriptions of some of the
links...oh and a proper discog, not that german one would be
nice. overall tho, i dont care, as long as it has recent
release info and the details of distributors(which is
excellent when the record store staff dont have a clue). as
long as they keep bringing out great music i could live with
the site as it is.

Well, I don't think the site is crap but with contacts by
the likes of the designer republic you'd think they'd be
able to arrange something wouldn't you?

It will do for now.

It's not that I am demanding a new site. I'm hoping for a
new one some day somewhere over the rainb... sorry got
carried away ;-)

And now it's time for some massive beer-exercises
