fals.ch

so anyway
i'm here trying attempting to make an html page on a
mathematical topic
of my choosing
and got thinking about generative musics

i came across this site

(apparently a web only record label putting out
generative pieces or something)

can anyone make any sense of the site?

and to add incentive, i quote from an autechre
interview

I think our first Fals.ch release came out about 18
months ago, maybe even two years ago

???

argh thanks, i don't know why i couldn't find that myself

but surely people find this more interesting that they seem
to? xltronic search yielded nothing, but that could be due
to anything, maybe

and i can't decide whether the site is stupid or genius. i'm
getting closer to finding something of some value i'm sure

hmm

most people only care about analord and it's expensive
binder.

but I'm sure there are more people than just us two who find
this interesting.

so anyway

i found the gescom thing [file:
9%db5%a903%5e.%b6%b75K70%b812i--)%20..1%c9.sit.hqx]

directions for which are:

get a mac. get maxplay. unstuff, doubleklick, double
happinesz! xss

thankfully i am on mac, haha i knew there'd be some
advantages.

hm anyway i don't understand it. by itself it's this thing
which runs in os9, and is the most cryptic thing ever, all
these dots you choose . hmm i'll understand soon.

i've got the latest max/msp and runtime trials blah..././
