this mix is pretty crazy. it makes it very hard to listen
to this track. the drums are waaaaaay too loud. but it
does sound like a pretty good song!

i really really can't mix down tracks very well at all, so i
don't really try to do that. plus its really boring.

i agree with r40f. the melodies are nice and i like the
vibe. you don't have to be a professional to mix your tracks
at a decent level. just try. a good track with good melodies
can be spoiled by careless mixing [or no mix at all]

good luck

are any electronic music tracks ever finished?

good point.

you usually know when your track has had enogh stabs, though
- so you kinda know or feel when or if it's finished
- if not, you give it a wait. at least, that's my way of
dealing with it.

point noted, tho i does say on my site the track is
"currently on hold due to technical problems", i.e i
actually can't finish it, and i was just eager to let a few
mates hear it, and then see if anyone off here liked
it.......

Dimples = mastered a bit quietly. Good though, I like it.
The detuned hoover type sound is a nice touch.

The Unfinished Project = Good melody, makes me think of
"binary finary". As razorblade says, the strings are
top-noth too.

shit, i got confused - i'm having two of your tracks on the
go and can't say which one i'm listening

one is with really nice string reminding me of a Hope
Blisterr track....and a strong beat comes now. this mix is
ok imo.

....my god it turns into a real epic. impressive piece of
music

downloading. i would think more people would listen if ypu
just posted the direct link to the mp3. many people don't
bother to search pages to find the specific file. i think.

pretty nice, but could have been more exciting. you could
try to fuck up the beats a little more imo

It was good but I don't like the drums... I would have used
some breaks or something, they are too clean and much too
loud as well. Some parts remind me of Roygbiv a little bit.
The middle no-drums bit is very nice although there is still
that old chestnut of slightly dodgy synth string samples.
Doesn't seem to relate to the rest of the track
particularly. First two minutes are a little over dramatic.
Overall it was a bit too long as well. The drums are
definetly my hot tip for improvement.
