how do i set an upload limit for soulseek? i cant upload more than 2 gig or else i lose me internet

If you can't do it in preferences, if it's not possible with soulseek, you can get these other programs that limit uploading with everything, I don't remember the names of any of them though.

why don't you partition your drive, with your downloads going in the new portion, and limiting that to 2 gigs...
I donno. My transfer limit is 6 gigs a month, and I average about 30 a month. They haven't seemed to take notice (knock on wood)...

Just set the MAX U/L to an acceptable setting so you don't go above 2 Gb for the month. Start with something like 10 since you have a pretty low cap.
