what's better to get? the UK version or the US version? i
ordered the UK version and i think it's the best choice. the
US version has a shorter running time.

Is That BT as in Brian Transeau?(SP) i used to think his
stuff was ok, but he went all trancey, then onto working
with NSync. He is technically a very good producer, just
not my bag i guess.

What sort of thing is ESCM then?

I only know the singles but they're all awesome. Remember is
one of my favourite songs ever.

i liked his earlier stuff, but yeah, what the guy said above
- he went all trancey. i guess that's where the money is,
but i haven't got the same amount of respect for his work as
before.

IMA, ESCM and MISL are nice albums, though. nothing
mindblowing, but a good listen nevertheless.

He got sick with SARS a couple of years ago while working on
a three-month long snare rush...;)

lol

ESCM is his 2nd album. i first got "Emotional Technology" -
his 4th and latest album - and even though its got one of
the guys from N'Sync on it, i was in a really depressed
state at the time and it really lifted my spirits. i love
BT, always will.

i also got "Movement In Still Life", his 3rd album. the UK
and US versions are VERY DIFFERENT. the US version is a
piece of shit compared to the UK version. i even got the
incredibly rare Black Hole Recordings version too. only $15
Canadian!!

anyway, i love the tracks "Flaming June" and "Remember" so i
decided to get "ESCM" and like MISL, there are different
versions in the UK and the US. but i think the UK is the
best way to go once again - the track list is apparently
longer according to this discography:

they say he has an IQ of 170+ but i don't believe it. :-S

can't say I liked ET. There were some songs on it that had
massive potential, but they just didn't do it for me. Sad
:-(

I got into his music from an interview I saw on TV here
years ago on [V] - his intelligence actually drew me to
investigate his music. Mind you, I would have only been 15
or so at the time, so shrug, but the guy said some things
which really amazed me, I remember that much. What they
were, who knows, my memory sucks.

yo! actually youre right. i love movement in still life, but
there was 2 different UK versions! after a bit of a rubbish
1st album, 'movement' was a massive step up. i will have to
check out his newest album! what is it like?

it is very vocal-heavy. and there's many complaints that
it's too poppy - but i think they're just snobs. put it on
and have a good time!!!
