is depressing music so beautiful?
is it just me, or is it the same for most of you?

you're right.. most depressing music is beautiful.
maybe.... if you find it depressing already, it means it has managed to move you... and if it moves you, perhaps you get some kind of "sympathy" for it, since you receive the feelings it wants to share.. and it's easier to get moved by someone or something you find beautiful than by someone or something you find ugly... maybe... or whatever (i can't think right at this time of the night, i'm going to sleep)

I'm a pretty happy guy for the most part but overly happy music makes me homicidal.
You know the problem with happy things is they're always new and sparkly like chrome and babies and new car smell. I like old things like brick walls covered with sixteen layers of different colored paint and it's all flaking away and grass is growing through the cracks in it.
In summation, I'd like to vioce my opposition to chrome babies that smell like new cars.

Because depressing music holds a great deal of human emotion. Emotions are a beautiful thing

beautiful music is depressing because of subconscious envy to those who made it. maybe. partially. who knows.

Not for me, maybe for others though yeah. I might get depressed when i'm playing a beautiful track because it will trigger memories in my head wich will cause me to feel nostalgic and wonder off god knows where.
