i haven't posted a track on here forever, but
here is one if anyone is interested. it a
mish-mash of this and that, and contains a sped-up maurice
ravel sample towards the end.

a thank you in advance to anyone who listens.

oops. the track is 'unititled' whoopse.

DJ Xammax, I've moved out of my parents house and am going
to school, I don't have internet access, so that's why I
haven't been here often.

thanks for remembering me, though. ( ;

alright i've re-uploaded it here if anyone is
interested. it's listed as '41'.
it's of a lower bitrate than before, but at least it may now
work.
sorry for the inconvenience.

Sounds lush so far.

I liked the Star Trek buttons thing but the next bit is like
a self indulgent 'wolf eyes' nonsense. The next bit sounds
like Chris Clark wanting to be aphex again..

There's plenty in the track, loads of different bits. I'll
keep it simple and say I liked most of them.

i've actually never heard chris clark or wolf eyes, so
that's just keen-o-rific.

thanks very much for listening, to the both of ya's

offline Q4Z2X on 2004-12-10 18:38 [#01421972]

but i've heard of them both, but it makes sense because i am
a poor bastard and never buy cds, and don't download music.

I did a track with those 'Star Trek' buttons before it was
Nerdy. Great sounds though.

dude where have you tried to send your stuff? cause i am
sure there are places who would be interested if you threw
together an album...

jive, i don't see what the problem is, really.
next will you be telling me i stole the sound of a snare
drum from the infantry..?

offline Q4Z2X on 2004-12-10 18:46 [#01421976]
Points: 5264 Status: Lurker

deadeight, i've sent my stuff out to some labels, but i
haven't heard back. my problem might be that i sent to much.
one is filled entirely, and contains a lot of
purposely-cheese ridden stuff that many might not have
appreciated for what it is.

but to who? have you sent stuff?

would you mind if i passed a few tracks along to some
friends to see if they know of some labels who they think
would be interested... i'm drawing a bit of a blank right
now... in any case i would like a few people i know to hear
your stuff... would that be okay?

sounds real good..all 3 songs - there's so much happening
it makes the songs appear to be much longer then they really
are. great sounds and production..

offline Q4Z2X on 2004-12-10 18:57 [#01421984]

i sent my stuff to about 25 labels that have stuff on it
that i've at least heard of, and some of the, sort of,
'biggies' just for the hell of it.
..about sending my stuff to people: sure!
thanks a lot for being insterested in my music, man.
if anyone you send it to likes it, give me an email at
prescribedsoap@yahoo.com , as i don't check the board that
often.

evolume - the second link i posted should work. nice to see
you as well.

take care, everyone.

jeez, jiver, you don't need to disassemble it like that. i
told everyone beforehand of the one sample that i used. and
its obvious if you are familiar with the composers work.
it's not like my music is a construction site where workers
can rightfully heckle me for not using the correct type of
cement. take it for what it is; music.
i feel sorry for you if you feel the urge to break down
music into its constituent parts. i know many here might do
just that, since their brains have been idm-ized to the
point where they see electronic music as being nothing more
than some shiny, pristine baseball cards to be replaced by
the next series, or something. ooh look, this one has a
hologram!
that's enough of my ranting. you just irk me when you shred
apart my music like that. i'm sure you had a jolly laugh.
just try to consider what i've said.

also, thanks for listening, tolstoyed.

It does say it all!
By the way, Plaidz, if you ever happen to read this, I
replied to your email a while back, but I don't think my
account works or something.
I'm living in Bloomington now.
