You really need to check them live, it's great! This is a
bit of the drummers side project with someone else doing the
electronics but this isn't so representative of the album
they've done.

It's not just 'Rawk' it really is exciting! My favourite
band of the moment. Look for some Mpegs of their live
performances.

i just love this non overly produced, wicked 'lets go nuts'
music..reminds me of natural dreamers (deerhoof) a bit.
awesome.

i haven't seen them live yet. there's some video clips
here:

LAZY_TITLE

looks like their gigs are very anti-fourth wall, like punk
rock.

i really dig how their bass player has both bass and guitar
strings! great idea!

"both bass and guitar strings" maybe i spoke too soon - in
the other videos, it looked like he had two tiny strings
like a guitar, and it definitely sounds like guitar strings,
but i'm not 100% sure.

Their mp3s are fun but live it's great. Seriousley if you
sniff a rumour they are going to play you need to be there.

they aren't really like Lightning Bolt... but they are
pretty bloody amazing... it's sort of a stretched out
jammy-psych-folk thing... very lo-fi recordings...
echoplexed vocals... some of their recordings drag for long
periods... but then they just catch fire and it makes
everything worthwhile...
check out their album "Jaybird" first...

tolstoyed.they did tour europe some weeks/months ago.
i saw them play with sightings and darkbrown feeling.
there was a band almost in each corner of the venue.
LB were great, although a broken snaredrum did take out the
rythm out of the gig a bit.

worth it
