im listening to his latest song on radio atm.

what is it about him/his music that is so good for so many
people?

coz it sounds very stupid to me..and the way he's rapping,
quite annoying really.

his production SUCKS.

whenever I hear one of his cd's playing, the sound is really
grating to me.

jesus christ, 2pac must be turning over in his grave.

it amazes me how somebody who's been dead for fuck knows how
long can still release albums. go music industry.

what song did you hear on the radio?

he always releases a stupid catchy/pop song as his first
single, so to increase sales from a broader range of
people.

pretty smart if you ask me, looks like he's got the game
down pretty good and it works like a charm.

there's some good tracks on his new album but his choruses
just blow for the most part.

i dunno what yer talking about with the whole 2pac thing,
but whatever.

you want a great song?
look for
2pac feat eminem - one day at a time

now that song is badass

when he produces his own stuff, he sucks, IMO. i like when
he works with Dre better, and i don't even like Dre's stuff
half the time.

i think eminem is 'safe-rap' for white people to listen to
that normally wouldn't listen to it. unfortunately they
don't take it as real music (sometimes it's not) but more so
for laughs, for a novelty. kind of like ICP, but with
sometalent.

His early stuff (pre slim shady lp) is semi-decent.
Everything else is absolute bilge.

On a related note, back when i used to shoplift to order (3
squid per album in case you were interested), 90% or so of
requests were for eminem albums. Very odd.

Oh... he does.

Have you heard the new single? I like it... its got one of
the funniest rhymes I have heard in a while;

"I'm gonna make you dance, its your chance,
Yeah boy shake that ass. Oops I mean girl. Girl Girl Girl."

that line's been stuck in my head for weeks

"i'm gonna make you dance bitch, don't miss your chance. boy
,shake that thing. oops i'm mean girl, girl girl girl. and
you know you're my world"

"mmm touch my body, mmm touch my body, boy, touch my body, i
mean girl touch my body"

this song is a guilty pleasure of mine. first i thought it
was so fucking shit, but then it kinda got stuck in my head.
probably cos it was being played on the tv all the time.

"real emotions the frustrated kidz long
for.
"

Those emotions are getting kinda lame after rehashing them 3
times in a row. Plus the "frustrated kids" don't even know
what to be frustrated about, they just know it's hip to have
issues so they dig into the first readymade "I'm angry and
everyone has to know it" vibe emitted.

" He is also
funny. If you don't have a sence of humor, you prolly won't
get it.
"

Yeah, unless you're into a sense of humour aimed at
8-year-olds you will probably not get it.

"Hey look! I'm wearing a beard, I'm Bin Laden! Get it?
"Hey check it out, I'm dressed up like Michael Jackson, and
my nose just dropped off! OMG it dropped off, I like totally
didn't expect that to happen!"
"Check out my up-to-date humour of imitating Madonna's looks
of 14 years ago! It is teh funnyness."

I love how empassioned people get about really stupid
things. People could say three words about stuff they like,
but as soon as a conversation is started about something
that is popular to dislike, people will start writting
manifestos.

Its not really worth getting too far into. You either like
it or not. Personally, I liked marylin manson before he went
all 80's, and I think eminem makes a fun guilty pleasure.

you needto hear a lot of the mixtape eminem shit.

like i said, his new album is shit for choruses IMO, it's
like he didn't spend any time on them at all but this album
is certainly more just funny and joking around than it is
about seriousness..

it's aight but not my fav, still ahs some good songs.

a lot of the unrelased mixtape shit is where the goodies are
