1 out of 28 people found the following post
interesting:

Smokey the Bear
"Only you can prevent forest fires."

After learning from Smokey that I was the only individual in
the universe capable of preventing forest fires, I moved to
a nearby forest where I assumed my unique power was urgently
needed. I waited and waited. I started to wonder if Smokey
really existed and talked to me or if I had hallucinated.
Once, ironically, a bear almost ate me. He was wearing a hat
but didn't have a shovel so I at least knew it wasn't
Smokey. But there were no fires. I eventually just assumed
that my mere presence prevented them and was glad I could
help. I eventually got bored and left, deliberately starting
a forest fire on the way out since I was sort of cold and
knew one would inevevitably occur right when I left anyway,
given my power would no longer work.

McGruff the Crime Dog
"Take a bite out of crime."

I saw McGruff in a parking lot after he gave a great public
speech about bullies. When I went to get his autograph, he
looked both ways to make sure that nobody was watching then
opened his trench coat and flashed me his bizare
anthropomorphic dog genitals. The "crime dog" was apparently
just a guise he used. This taught me a lot and now my most
successful tactic to molest young children is to pose as a
substitute teacher.

Vince and Larry the Crash Test Dummies
"You could learn a lot from a dummy."

Vince and Larry taught me the humorous potential of severe
automobile accidents. I've tried to replicate their genious
using shopping carts with my 2 cats, dog and sister as the
"dummies" but without much success. First of all they aren't
usually willing and I have to restrain them. Second of all,
they usually don't talk or move or breath after the crash
and they're all covered with blood. Therefore they can't
take part sharing the humorous experience with me. It's
still sort of funny I guess.
