i choose we are dmx. i bet the æ confield+ fans don't "get it", but to those i say: just listen to it everyday for 3 or 4 years and eventually you'll start to notice all the subtle melodies and the complex lyrics in the songs, and you'll be like "whoooaa this is a masterpiece"

dmx crew is a mastermind... have you ever tried to do simple beatmatching with his music? Clockshifting and tempo changes all over the place. And it doesn't sound awkward or tried like people like Vsnares and such.
Plus its well produced, and fun as hell.

Confield only had a couple good songs. Its not anything close to EP7 which is mindblowing. If you were to compare we are dmx and EP7 I would ask you "are you kidding?" throw feces in your face and then run around the room yelling EP7EP7EP7 while prodding you with a toothpick...
But confield is just an ok album with 2 amazing songs on it.

i notice alot of æ fans think EP7 is great. but it doesn't strike me as anything special. i mean, it's got some cool fucking production. but that really isn't enough to make a track great from my view of point.

Honestly, if you have listened to it more than twice, and it hasn't changed the way you percieve music, than you prolly aren't going to get it.

i really like we are dmx krew, but also, as a big fan of ae, i love confield. cant see the point where i can compare these two, completely different styles, sounds, everything. i choose both of them.

yeah, i can't see the point in comparing the two. they have a completely different approach to their work. i think dmx have done some very good tracks (like energy flow), but when he gets too cheesy it's unbearable (bonkers goes back to school). having said that, i still place my bet with æ on this race, they have been good to me ever since incunabula. bless those little angels.
